Introduction to Morse Code alongside other code breakers. Supports fun and engaging activity with your class - go through the morse code grid together (make long and short beep sounds to represent the dots and dashes, then get the children to stand up and say a letter each in morse code then sit down again. Used during STEM week, led the children to investigate how they could use different materials for morse codes - focussing on how to make long and short sounds. As an extension task, you can either write some morse codes for your children to solve or you can get them to write their own codes to test their peers.
