Phase 2 - Read a sentence In this pack the children will be able to read the sentences and match them to the pictures. Please have a look at my other Phase 2 activities. There is also a Phase 2 mega pack which includes this activity.

Phase 2 - CVC Word Activites - Writing Children will segment and write out the spelling of each word under the pictures. Another next step to improve pencil control is to colour in the pictures. Please look at my other Phase 2 activities. I also have a mega Phase 2 pack which includes this activity.

Phase 2 - CVC Word Activities. Children are to look at the pictures. They then read the words and cut/stick them with the matching picture. An extra step would be for children to colour in the pictures after. This is a great activity to see independent reading and understanding. This will also help with fine motor skills, linked with cutting and colouring. Please also look at my mega Phase 2 pack which includes many Phase 2 activities including this one!

Know how to report bullying in your school Know what a ripple effect is and that we want to spread kindness this Anti-Bullying Week. The lesson or assembly will begin with teachers acting out polite and welcoming speech/body language and then being strict and rude to the pupils. Ask the children how they felt for each scenario. These can then be written up on the board if available or on post it notes for children to put in different topic areas eg happy feelings and sad feelings. You will then talk about what kindness is and who we can talk to within the school if we ever feel sad from someones actions towards us. Video clips can then be shown and children can comment on the positive outcomes as well as negative (if there are any). You will then conclude with a chain reaction of kindness where you can work as a school or class to promote acts of kindness within the school.

Children will either use cubes or rulers to measure how wide or tall the items are.

I Spy Initial Sound Worksheets Here we have Initial sounds worksheets from the letter A to Z. Children will look at the pictures and see which starts with that sound. They will then cut, stick and colour the correct items.

In this pack you will have a worksheet per letter of the alphabet. On this worksheet the child will practice their handwriting skills, read out sounds and listen to the initial sound when finding the items.

Addition Using Tens Frames Here are 10 different worksheets all adapted for all levels. Here the children will be able to use the tens frames to help them add numbers together from adding to 5 to 10 to 20. There is also a doubles worksheet in there to help support this.

In this Listening Skills Maths pack you will find instructions to carry out each worksheet. The aim of this is to complete once a week with either small groups or as a whole class.
