Students are to define the key words prediction and prevention. Students are to colour code the information to show which statement is prediction and which is prevention. A variety of questions are asked to check the students learning. Students are introduced to a case study and then have to answer the exam question: describe how building design and planning can reduce the effects of flooding. To end students choose which feature they believe is the best way to protect their house from a flood.
