A great addition to any classroom, these labels have been created with real life photographs to help develop children’s vocabulary and allow older children to independently access classroom resources. Created in both Russian and phonetic Russian, it allows children from Ukraine, Russia and other Russian speaking countries to settle in to a new classroom and be able to be confident and independent. It also helps other children to learn some item names in Russian.

I have previously used these labels to help children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It allows them to be able to identify where items are that are hidden away in drawers, helping to ease anxiety of a new classroom.

To see the English translation, open the editable PowerPoint version and look at the notes below the slide.

These labels are bright and colourful which will look great in any classroom.
Included in this download are the labels in PowerPoint format (with English translation in the notes) and in printable PDF format (Russian and phonetic Russian) in a range of sizes including:

  • One to a page
  • Two to a page
  • Four to a page
  • Six to a page
