This is a PowerPoint designed to inform pupils of the background and context to Situation ethics. This was originally created for the Edexcel course but I have just used it for the new AQA one.
The ppt is differentiated throughout, with all activities and resources designed to accommodate for lower, middle and higher abilities. Please look to the bottom of every slide for advise on the level of difficulty.
As a result of having this lesson, all students were able to write much better informed AO1 essays. Their understanding of why situation ethics was devised made their application of it much more meaningful.
