An Actors toolbox: An introduction to performance skills for year 7

A term one scheme of work for year 7.

Learning aims and objectives:
To get familiar with the Grading criteria and identify where they are and targets for the year.
To understand the rules of the Drama Studio and abide by them.
To understand what the 6 main performance skills are.
To understand and embed vocal modulation skills.
To understand the effect Levels and Proxemics has on an audience.
To understand how to convey emotions to the audience.
To understand the different interpretations of eye contact.
Understand how each skill can show an audience how the character is feeling, thinking and personality traits.
To understand the importance of staying in character.

A 7 week scheme of work with clear success criteria for each lesson to ensure the students and teacher can track progress and data.
