AQA A Islam Practices Lesson 6 and 7 - Hajj

This file comprises of the 6th and 7th lessons for the AQA A GCSE 'Practices' unit of work for Islam and it is focused on the fifth pillar of Islam, Hajj. There is a lot of content to get through in this lesson which is why I have suggested 2. This is mirrored in the text books as they seem to show it being 2 lessons worth of content.

The lesson has been fully resourced to a high standard with a range of differentiated tasks included (using the good, better, best system). The lesson is designed to challenge the students as well as make them familiar with new concepts, knowledge and how to apply their learning to the exam.

Please check the bottom of all slides for teachings hints and tips as well as for any video and film links. This is a very active lesson and so will require you to set up your classroom prior to the lesson. All signs, resources and worksheets have been created for you to do this as swiftly and easily as possible. I have had some lovely pupil feedback from this lesson and they have all remembered the content well as a result.
