Sheet given to pupils after being shown the basics tools of the program to allow independent production of a basic MP3 player design (in two parts - front/back).
The page is designed to be a walk-through, but intentionally does not "hold the users hand" to prevent pupils simply following instructions, but forcing them to learn and apply what they have learnt, but in a clear and supported manner.
Depending upon the strengths of pupils they can manipulate the designs to be more individual/complex. If produced accurately the design can then be 3D printed in two parts to demonstrate how to manufacture the casing of such products and to allow practical testing.
Depending upon the facilities available this can be assigned as a homework task to pupils once they have developed basic competencies in the basic tools of the program (drawing tools, extrusion etc.).
