Calculating the numbers 1-100 using the 4's challenge!

This lesson is a group challenge! Firstly, there is a film clip and the students have to spot the problem with Tom Cruise and his logic. Introduce the students to factorials as they will definitely need these. The students then work in groups to complete the challenge, there are two different ways you can do this to make it much easier, but competitive students will want to try the difficult way, (also decide if you want them to use a calculator) and you can't help but get involved! Some numbers seem really difficult but all are possible and the solutions are included.
