A new and updated full lesson for GCSE students of Spanish - any exam board. This has been updated to include the impact of recent events on the Spanish speaking world.

This is not aimed at any specific year group as there are a range of activities (red to green) varying in difficulty.

The lesson includes speaking, writing and reading comprehension activities.

Supporting material includes a printable chart for students in tackling the photo-card. The first speaking activity requires students to look at a photo and describe what they see, along with a few other questions. This is particularly useful for exam practice.

There is also a printable reading comprehension activity where students must answer questions and practice writing in full sentences.

Half of the lesson focuses on the impact of recent events on Spain. The other half focuses on racism in Latin America - what its roots are, its prevalence in old vs modern day society, etc.

There are a mix of group/pair and individual activities.

Please note, the resource included in this used for help in describing the photocards is an adaption of this: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/describing-a-photo-photocard-help-mat-for-new-gcse-spanish-11389517 and is IN NO WAY included in the total price of this lesson.
