Geographical features
Which Season Is Your Favourite?

This is a 6 week plan which includes the planning for 6 weeks, Worksheets for each lesson and PowerPoints to talk through with the class before.
It includes a title page which shows the key aims for each lesson, key language that is going to be used. The last lesson is a questionnaire to help you asses what that children have learnt during the 6 weeks and their understanding of each lesson.

Lessons include learning about:
Physical Geography

Identify seasonal and daily weather patterns in the United Kingdom and the location of hot and cold areas of the world in relation to the Equator and the North and South Poles

Use simple fieldwork and observational skills to study the geography of their school and its grounds and the key human and physical features of its surrounding environment.

Aim: To locate hot and cold areas of the world and able to name the Equator and North and South Pole

Aim: To identify the four seasons and how these relate to months of the year.

Aim: To describe what the weather is like during Spring and Summer

Aim: To describe what the weather is like during Autumn and Winter.

Aim: To observe, gather data and record weekly weather patterns.

Aim: To identify and explain similarities and differences between the seasons.
