I am a native Spanish speaker teaching in a secondary school in England.
These two engaging lessons are designed for KS3 students to start familiarising themselves with Photo Cards and the type of questions and answers that are a part of the GCSE Speaking exam, so they can start practising and building their confidence for future years.
Both lessons have starter activities, objectives and outcomes, main activities and plenaries, and all of them are explained on the Notes section. The PowerPoint also includes a Chatty Matt for students to use that can be adapted for the vocabulary they know and can also be adapted for different topics and year groups.
The lessons can be adapted for the ability and skills of your students. The activities are scaffolded and include extensions for the high ability students.

The vocabulary used here is based on the Pearson ¡Viva! books for KS3.

You could use the end of the second lesson as a Mini Exam to test their Speaking skills and what they have learned, or have a third lesson for this test.
