Problem solving (five days).

Children solve word problems involving several steps, using diagrams, number line or other jottings to help them to both visualise the problem and to solve it. They solve problems which involve listing multiples or combinations to help to solve them, and then draw tables to help solve logic problems. Generally applicable strategies are discussed such as writing ordered lists, drawing tables, trying out a few numbers to get started on the problem.
