A complete lesson on metals and oxygen based on the activate 2 SOW. The lesson includes a practical demonstration where students fill in a observation sheet and produce (simple) balanced equations. If you can get pure oxygen from the techies you can really promote a love of learning with this. A choice of 2 plenaries are included, reflective writing or whiteboard based. Answers to each learning checkpoint are incorporated into the slides via animation. Timers are included to promote pace.
