this is a basic introduction to how to plug in and get your MicroBit up and running
I prepared this for a cover lesson with a non-specialist for year 7 (and in the end they used the on screen simulator rather than the Microbit itself). It is self paced and the more capable finished this in 2 lessons.
It has 16 pages and covers; Getting to know our MicroBit, Start Coding - a trip around the IDE (I used PXT but its almost the same as the block editor), Looping (Repeat and For loops), Selection (If and Else), Variables. It has code challenges and screen shots of where to click. It also has 2 simple homework exercises.
