The following cases: Leopold & Loeb, Fatty Arbuckle and Lana Turner and the Killing of Johnny Stompanato.

THIS IS 3 COMPLETE PRODUCTS BEING SOLD TOGETHER, EACH IN ITS OWN POWERPOINT PRESENTATION. Each presentation ends with its own 10 point multiple choice QUIZ. 30 questions all together.

The author is a retired lawyer, instructor and textbook author.

LEOPOLD & LOEB presentation: covers in full text and visual the crime committed by Leopold and Loeb in 1924 Chicago. They wanted to be Supermen, as in the German philosophy books they read, so decided to commit the perfect crime. They killed 14 year old Bobby Franks. Their families were wealthy and hired Clarence Darrow to defend them.

FATTY ARBUCKLE presentation: Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle was a silent film actor, comedian, director, and writer in the 1910s. His infamous trials made up Hollywood's first official big time scandal in 1921-1922. Arbuckle was prosecuted for a young women's rape and accidentally killing her. William Randolph Hearst simultaneously “tried” Arbuckle in his newspapers with the most lurid and sensational coverage. Arbuckle had two hung juries and was acquitted in the third trial.

LANA TURNER presentation: Lana had a very stormy romance with Johnny Stompanato, a gangster, who had worked for Mickey Cohen, and ex Marine. Johnny was killed in Lana's house one night, stabbed in vital parts of his chest. Lana and Cheryl both claimed Cheryl had done it but a 14 year old girl taking on a 32 year old former Marine and gangster with a knife took some doing. In short, everyone suspected that Lana had stabbed and killed Johnny and Cheryl was taking the fall for it.
