This resource was recently judged outstanding in an observation it was delivered to SEMH KS3 students but is also suitable for KS2.
The resources has students working in a carousel activity developing their understanding of imagery through eating sherbet lemons, students are engaged and excited from the start.
The resource includes the lesson plan, PowerPoint and worksheets including AfL opportunities throughout. Lesson develops skills in collaboration, independent reading and writing, self-assessment and peer-assessment.
