I recommend teaching at least 3 Guided reading lessons weekly to continue developing the children’s reading skills like comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Guided reading is like a stepping stone to reading on your own, making children better readers step by step. Guided reading lays a strong foundation for learning across various subjects, contributing to the children’s confidence, development in comprehension, critical thinking, and vocabulary.
