This discounted series of 5 lessons comprises two doubles and a single which centre around all of the key media terminology indicated in the EDUQAS GCSE specification with regards to Media Language and James Bond.

Each Double/single includes a H/W task, resources and in-built assessment with the last lesson serving as both a review of Media language terms to date as well as a selection of LV9 terms for the analysis of 'Spectre' and The Man with the Golden Gun' posters.

I have taught this unit to my students who fed back that it was extremely enjoyable, informative and user-friendly. Their assessments in Lesson 20 were also to a high standard based upon retained learning. The lessons look at:

-Codes
-Conventions
-Intertextuality
-Homage
-Narrative theory (Propp, Levi-Strauss, Barthes and Todorov)
-The codes and conventions of movie posters
-The history of Bond
