These are some activities to learn about the culture in Spain: How the Easter season is celebrated. Students will learn the vocabulary related to this event and they will watch a video that shows how the cities are transformed in this traditional and religious celebration.
There are 4 activities:
- They will read a text explaining what is “Semana Santa” and how is celebrated.
- Two activities to learn the vocabulary from the text. This activity can be done before or after reading the text, depending on their level. One activity to match with the meaning of the word and another activity to match with images.
- There is a YouTube video with the transcription and activities for two different levels (basic or intermediate/advanced). Each level has two activities to do after watching the video.
- Homework or project.
