Terms and conditions starter: Give learners the terms to sign and date and give them the corresponding questionnaire. Assess how many learners read what they are signing and use the additional worksheet for those that do. Use as a discussion/icebreaker activity to skimming and scanning and why and how we use the skills in everyday life.
PowerPoint: Included activities for the session with a link to a Kahoot as a plenary. The big scan activity can be applied to any texts you want to provide.
