Step by step guide to using stem-and-leaf diagrams

This worksheet is made up of two columns; the first is a worked example of how to calculate information from a stem-and-leaf diagram, and the second is the 'Do-It-Yourself' part where the student copies the method from the left. It covers calculating the size, range, median and inter-quartile range of the sample. This works especially well for students who have difficulty grasping the method.
