Designed to support SEND students with times tables and understand concept of adding same amounts each time. SEND students often find the traditional times tables grid difficult to co-ordinate. This method/skill of stacked arrays can be transferred and used on mini whiteboards/scrap paper during assessments.
The mat is great for use when teaching other skills requiring times table knowledge, eg: short and long multiplication.
The individual arrays are great for explicit teaching of times tables.
