Unit 2 CPLD Learning aim B (Numeracy)

This supports the CPLD 2016 spec for both the Extended Nat Dip and Extended Cert programmes.

Unit 2 - externally assessed unit.

This resources covers the key content for B2: Development of numeracy and mathematical skills and B5: Supporting numeracy development for learning aim B.

It is an 11 page booklet, that consists of teacher led content plus lots of engaging activities such as identifying mathematical language in a range of songs/nursery rhymes, creating a maths rich environment, relating best practice to relevant theories, scrutinising images of maths activities with regards to how they support mathematical development, explaining how topics such as ‘myself’ supports mathematical development etc.

Lots of exam practice at the end too, which covers activity 1 and activity 3 practice, from past exam papers.
