YEAR 12: LESSON 1-2, INDUCTION MATERIALS AND MEDIA LANGUAGE IN ADVERTISING AND MARKETING= This Double Lesson introduces learners to the concept of MEDIA LANGUAGE as well as the socio/cultural/political/ historical and economic contexts media is created in e.g. the 1950's and consumerism evident in the 'Tide' advertisement. This lesson closely focuses upon the 'Tide' and 'Water Aid' media forms set by the examiner.

This resource also includes a homework task and an analytical lesson resource task.

NOTE: I am following EDUQAS Teaching Model 1 in my teaching/ SOW and my school is only providing Media Studies at A-Level, as a Two- Year Course. Moreover, each lesson has a task whereby students RAG (Red, Amber, Green) what they have learnt in the lesson against an Examiner checklist (Differentiation, peer assessment).
