Creative Writing Activity/Lesson Resource (Please note this was previously a resource for the National Story-Telling Week 2023. As such, if you previously used this resource, this has been updated and adapted to be a general creative writing activity/resource). This a Powerpoint which focuses on what creative writing is and why creative writing is important. There are multiple activities within the Powerpoint which helps students determine what a story should include and the main parts of a story including characters, settings, themes etc… It can be used as a whole lesson and includes comments below each slides in ways it can be made longer. It is an interactive lesson and helps students with creative-writing and story telling. It uses images and prompts to help students work on this.
