Originally created for use with the AQA Art, Craft & Design specification but could easily be adapted for use with other exam boards or specifications.

A Powerpoint looking at creating a motif design inspired by insects to use within a range of repeat patterns. This resource recaps knowledge from my ‘Intro to Repeat Pattern’ lesson and provides examples and worksheets for creating several different types of patterns by repeating a motif in a different way. You may wish to explain and demonstrate the use of tracing paper for repetition of an image, however, this has not been included in the Powerpoint. This resource is fully editable and has 7 printable worksheets.
