A KS4 lesson aimed at helping students to answer the first question on Paper 1, Section A for Edexcel. This is the Historical Environment section, and this is on: The British Sector of the Western Front, 1914-1918: injuries, treatments and the trenches. Learning objectives: All – Will know what an answer needs to include to get full marks on the ‘describe’ questions. Most – Will be able to put into practice knowledge of answering these questions. Some – Will be able to use this knowledge to get full marks on future questions.
