Problem Solving Lesson
1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment
The worksheet requires students to research different Skills and use the learning to answer the problem solving question using the skills learnt. The teacher role is just of a prompter...All the lesson is independently conducted by students. It can be adapted and used for one-one activity, paired or group work....By the end of the lessons students should have learn't the following skills and use them for problem solving questions... :
1. Area of Sector 2. Area of Triangle 3. Finding an angle using Cosine Rule and using all/some of the skills to answer the 4. Area of the Segment
How to allow students to combine the skills they learn't to do a multi-stage question...
(Please kindly give constructive feedback...I have used it with my students and has worked very well but I would like to know if it helps other teachers...)
