Persuasive Language - M and D's Theme Park

(0)
This resource encourages pupils to find examples of persuasive language on an engaging website. The pupils are encouraged to analyse how persuasive language is used to attract visitors to a theme park. A follow-up task is provided where pupils need to analyse how presentational devices such as colour, images and layout have been used to intrigue readers. Extension activity: An extension activity is included whereby pupils must develop their own leaflet for a theme park. This encourages them to put themselves in the shoes of a writer who is trying to persuade and engage customers. This resource is perfect as an introductory activity to persuasive language or indeed as a revision exercise.
