Sound and Silence – Graphic Score One Unit of Four Music Lessons . Suitable for Upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students. Can we hear silence? Is there such a thing as silence? What is the difference between sound and silence? What’s the difference between listening and hearing? This unit asks students to consider and discuss these questions. Over four lessons they are given a variety of opportunities to listen to and record the sounds they hear using graphic score. You do not have to have a musical background to deliver it. It is about clarity - making sure what you say is heard and comprehended correctly. The most commonly known and used diction exercises are tongue twisters. Playing a Glockenspiel Unit 1 (Revised and Updated) (10 Music Lessons) Suitable for pupils in Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2. These units are not mac-friendly.
