Retired July 2016. 42 years a music teacher in secondary schools in London and Birmingham, mostly as Head of Music and also Head of Year. School concerts and shows were always a highlight, pleasure and successful. No backing tracks!It was so important that ALL the school's musicians could come together to play accessible and appropriately arranged pieces of music- which I did and particularly for the school orchestra. Passionate about Czech music and Mozart (particularly the operas) and Birmingham City FC.
