The scheme caters for a high ability class and is challenging in areas. Within the scheme (which is suitable for around 18 lessons) there is the following: - A key word for each lesson which links to the objective - A series of interactive starters and settlers to engage - Extracts from the play to analyse - Slides suitable for printing along with differentiated resource sheets - Links to the GCSE new AQA specification (English Language Paper Reading and Writing/ English Literature Shakespeare) - Texts which are challenging - extracts from 19th Century non-fiction articles and extracts from the novel Robinson Crusoe - Reference to specific Assessment Objectives to prepare students for GCSE - A range of writing and reading tasks, along with several speaking and listening tasks - Assessment focus at the end of the scheme - Example responses with success criteria - Wider links to poetry and other authors -Opportunities for homework - Opportunities for individual/group research in reference to context - Colourful and visual displays to put on the board Individual lessons and other KS3/KS4/KS5 schemes are available on my shop. This PowerPoint acts as a lesson plan for a lesson on non-verbal communication. Work through the first few slides asking pupils about the significance of signs and symbols. Use the activity cards and pupils should act out actions. Develop by doing a thought shower on slang words and text speech and finish by setting homework to write a text to the class teacher.

This activity sheet contains several key quotations for the theme of responsibility. The first section is a close activity which allows students to remember the key words from each quote. The students can then go on to analyse the word taken from each quote and how this demonstrates the theme of responsibility.

This scheme of learning is for the novel 'MacB' by Neil Arksy based on Shakespeare's Macebeth. I have all the resources to accompany attached. This scheme has been used for KS3 class so it is challenging and explores extracts from the original as well as other texts such as Anne Frank. Most worksheets are differentiated.
