A bundle of 3 sets of questions best suited to revision of the OCR Physics A H156 Module 3 - Forces & Motion. The question sets are designed in the following way: A set of questions aimed more at the Depth paper style, covering multiple ideas in one context. A set of questions that are deliberately wordy and take some deciphering, to encourage students’ reading comprehension. A set of questions to act as a summary of content to be recalled, more akin to the Breadth paper.

These tasks are designed to improve students’ written communication of complex ideas in the quantum physics topic of AS physics. Covering the more conceptual photoelectric effect and the more practical based experiment to determine Planck’s constant using LEDs, they use the CLOZE passage format to provide structure for students who struggle with written expression.

Useful for student revision for AQA GCSE Combined Science Trilogy papers. These are assessment objective 2 based questions designed to test the students’ ability to apply the key information from the specification for the 2 Chemistry papers in the Trilogy pathway.

Students often struggle to write exhaustively on a topic. I designed these questions to encourage deeper thought on the physics of a situation and to drive students to write as much as they can, rather than to simply make as many points as there are marks available. These work excellently as either written homework questions, or questions that can be discussed in class.

Questions around the ‘failed’ Apollo 13 mission that cover topics ranging from simple harmonic motion to gravitation to thermal physics and gas laws. These questions are designed to prepare students for the unified physics exam, where they will need a broad knowledge of the entire specification in order to succeed.
