Intro to Shakespeare ★ 5 Worksheets ★ Biography, Key Dates, Key Works, Quizzes
These worksheets are great for introducing Shakespeare in the classroom.
Beginning with reading and comprehension exercises on Shakespeare’s life, these activities prompt students to discuss what they already know about Shakespeare (and learn more) through these challenging activities.
I designed these worksheets for a high school (secondary school) English literature class, but the materials can easily adapted for English language, drama or history classes.
Any of the worksheets can be set as homework, used in a classroom or in a one-to-one tutoring lesson.
