A reading challenge developed in order to encourage children to read widely for pleasure. Includes prompts meaning those taking part should read a variety of genres, avoiding the temptation to go for safe choices or old favourites, alongside a variety of creative tasks to assess understanding and retention of information. This booklet is designed for KS3 pupils, however the prompts and tasks can easily be adapted to suit higher and lower reading ages for use in primary school or KS4.
