Traffic light resource, useful to help students with autism to self-regulate.
Depending on the needs of your students you may need to teach them how to use it first, e.g. say to them "you are feeling angry, (put sad symbol on red area) then give them an option of 2 yellow symbols to help them calm down. Let them do this activity with a sandtimer and ask them how they feel when the timer is finished (green symbols).
Laminate and velcro traffic light background. laminate and cut out symbols with velcro on the back.
An activity to help aid reading and comprehension of SH words. I would recommend printing the pages and laminating them. Students can then place a counter on the correct symbol after reading each word or clip a peg over the symbol.
