This resource includes 2 lessons that I developed for a lower secondary GP class studying Globalisation These 2 lessons were used to introduce the topic. This pack include the task sheets and the information that I distributed to the students. Lesson 1: What is Globalisation Tasksheet includes definitions, summary writing task, Source Study, and topic reflection questions. Lesson 2-3: Causes of Globalisation Tasksheet includes source task (ie, how is this photo an example of globalisation), 200 word descriptive writing task using source material.

Pack include material for 3-4 lessons: Globalisation in Sport PPT slideshow giving background information on globalisation in sport, sporting celebrities and the involvement of transnational corporations. Task sheet with source based questions Infographic Task on a global sporting event Globalisation and Gaming Tasksheet including information about the growth of gaming as a global phenomenon, including source based information and a speech writing task (this could easily be adapted to a debate/or report writing task). I used these resources with my Year 8 GP class. There is a good variety of task and information that could be uses as is, or adapted to your needs.
