It contains a number of different activities for students to complete. It perfectly suits the book 'The British experience of warfare, c1790-1918' by Rick Rogers and Brian Williams. However it will suit other books such as the Alan Farmer books (page numbers will vary). Glossary is also included.

Lesson 1/34 on 'American Revolution 1740-1796'. This lesson focuses on the creation and development of the first 13 States. With this PowerPoint, I have attached a map which could be used throughout the whole course, making reference to how these States developed through the American Revolution.

We have created a new course based on GCSE spec for KS3 to get them used to exam practice. I have made a number of lessons on the WWI, WWII and the Cold War (A total of 10 hours worth for Cold War). In those 10 hours students practice Edexcel's 4, 12 and 16 mark questions. This is an excellent lesson on the Berlin Blockade. It has a 4 mark question based on the Edexcel GCSE Spec.
