There is also a thought provoking discussion question-‘Do you think AI will rule the world by 2050’ and related questions that will stimulate an interactive and lively class discussion. This resource creates the perfect foundation for an open ended task in which students design/make/evaluate their own form of AI that could help to improve our everyday lives.

As schools will likely be reopening soon in the UK this activity is a nice way to ease students back into the school environment and allow them to reflect on their time away from school. I would send the task sheet home to parents before the first day of school and ask them to gather items and bring them in during Week 1. This activity can be used as a writing stimulus. Eg/ Recount
