We are proud of our strong reputation for supporting learners and providing quality education and training for over 185 years. Each year we deliver hundreds of courses to thousands of learners from across the globe. We are one of the largest college’s in the country, and one of the largest providers of Higher Education outside the university sector in England.
With a strong professional emphasis, our students benefit from more taught hours and tutor contact time than many universities. In most cases, group class sizes are smaller and learners benefit from more contact time and tutor support.
Bradford College has been presented with a number of prestigious National Beacon Awards by the Association of Colleges for its outstanding contribution to Equality & Diversity, its innovative approach to developing and embedding Functional Skills (OCR Award) and for its excellence and innovation in Health and Safety.
In recent Further Education surveys 98% of students said they were enjoying their course, 96% of students said that they would recommend their course to a friend and 96% of students said they liked coming to College.
Satisfaction rates are mirrored in Higher Education, with the latest National Student Survey recording an average 4 per cent improvement in satisfaction from students on our degree-level courses.
Bradford is a city with a rich heritage of industrial growth, and over 60% of Bradford Metropolitan district is rural. There is easy access to countryside, the world-renowned UNESCO Saltaire World Heritage Site, the popular town of Ilkley and the fabulous Yorkshire Dales. The city is within easy reach of major motorways, Leeds Bradford airport and direct rail routes to and from London, Manchester and Leeds. The College campus is located at the heart of the city, surrounded by a vibrant array of restaurants, bars, museums and The Alhambra Theatre.
