British School in Baku is a co-educational independent all-through school based in Baku in Azerbaijan.
The school’s specialist facilities include dedicated laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, art and music rooms, ICT rooms and a recently extended library. Most classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and ICT plays an integral role in teaching. Internet access is available in classrooms. The classrooms themselves have recently been refurbished with new furniture and equipment and textbooks are imported from the UK. The school also has a sixth form common room in which pupils may study or remain during break times. The school provides an education, based on the National Curriculum used in England and leading to UK public examinations.

Values and vision
British School in Baku aims to offer its students a caring and supportive environment, which treats them as individuals. It wishes to provide each student with essential life skills and the motivation to become lifelong learners. The school also firmly believes in developing a social climate which values international understanding and the acceptance of the diverse cultures represented by the school community. It aims to encourage individuals to make a positive and responsible contribution to the life of the school and the wider community. Emphasis is also placed on the importance of collaboration between parents and the school so that all parents understand that they too can be actively involved in their children's education.
