Location
This is my second international position and I am extremely pleased to be a new member of staff at British School Muscat. I moved to Muscat with my wife and baby son and they love it here too. The induction process that greeted us was informative, friendly and efficient. I was extremely impressed with how quickly the school arranged our residencies and driving licences. Working at BSM is a delight and Oman is a great place to live with plenty of things to do if you are single or with your family.

You can do anything from water sports to activities up in the mountains to going out with friends. The local people are extremely friendly and always make you feel welcome which has made my transition from the UK so much easier. The children at BSM are incredibly enthusiastic and polite, adventurous with their own learning and always strive to do their best. This makes the school a great place to teach. You are also surrounded by talented staff that you get to work with.
