About Harrow International School Hong Kong
Located in a magnificent crescent-shaped building with custom-built facilities near the Gold Coast Tuen Mun, Harrow International School Hong Kong is the first and only British international boarding and day school in Hong Kong. The School integrates elements of educational philosophy, practice and traditions from Harrow School in England into the diverse international community of Hong Kong to provide a highly distinctive education. Our vision, Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership, aims to equip and challenge our pupils to use their knowledge, skills, and talents to make life better for others in their community and the wider world. Harrow International School Hong Kong opened in September 2012 and now has circa 1,600 pupils aged 3 to 18.
Harrow Hong Kong is structured into a Lower School and an Upper School. The Lower School includes the Early Years Centre (Nursery and Reception) and the Pre-Prep School (Y1-Y5). The Upper School consists of the Prep School (Y6-Y8), the Senior School (Y9-Y11) and the Sixth Form (Y12-Y13).
Weekly Boarding is available to Upper School pupils. There are four Prep School Houses for boys (one of which is a ‘Day’ House) and three for girls (one of which is a ‘Day’ House), four Senior School Houses for boys (one of which is a ‘Day’ House) and four Senior Houses for girls (two of which are ‘Day’ Houses).

I have been at Harrow Hong Kong since 2017 and my time here has simply flown by. Each year has brought exciting challenges, memorable experiences, and valuable opportunities to grow personally and professionally. A highlight has been the colleagues I have bonded with; they have been a constant source of inspiration, support and friendship, whilst the warmth of our pupils, parents and wider school community makes Harrow HK a uniquely welcoming environment. As a parent, I have also loved seeing my own children thrive here alongside my pupils. The School has continually encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and take on leadership roles. I am truly grateful to be part of a community that values both who I am and what I contribute.
- Calvyn Pang, Lower School Class Teacher and Lower School Computing Curriculum CoordinatorI feel incredibly fortunate to have joined Harrow International School Hong Kong as a Teaching Assistant, completed my PGCE teacher training here, and subsequently progressed to a Class Teacher position in the Lower School. The School has continually invested in my professional development, providing opportunities to participate in the Middle Leader Programme and complete a National Professional Qualification (NPQ). Harrow's well-established values underpin a holistic education in which pupils thrive both academically and pastorally. Combined with a rich and rigorous curriculum, a supportive parent community, and outstanding facilities, this creates an inspiring environment where teaching is both rewarding and enjoyable, and where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

As both a member of staff and a parent of three children who attend the school, I experience first-hand the warmth and sense of belonging that make Harrow Hong Kong such a unique and special place.
