Nonsuch High School for Girls is a highly successful and selective grammar school for students aged 11–18.  Founded in 1938 and set within 22 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of Nonsuch Park, we provide a caring, happy and stimulating environment where students achieve the highest levels of academic and personal success.

Our students’ commitment to learning is matched by their excellent behaviour and positive relationships with staff.  Attainment is consistently outstanding:  in Summer 2025, 63.1% of GCSE grades were at 9–8 and 82.6% at 9–7, with 98.2% at grade 5 or above.  At A level, 26.6% of grades were A* and 64.4% were A*–A, placing Nonsuch among the top-performing schools nationally.

We are proud of our mission to empower young women to aspire, achieve and make a difference.  Our broad and balanced curriculum is enriched by an extensive programme of extra-curricular opportunities, promoting creativity, curiosity, wellbeing and leadership. Students are encouraged to engage with the local and wider community and to take on roles of responsibility across the school.

Our excellent facilities include 13 science laboratories, an astronomy dome, language suites, a large Sixth Form Centre and extensive sports facilities.  Music, drama, art and sport all thrive, and students are supported by dedicated teaching and pastoral teams.
