The Winsford Academy

Based in Winsford, Cheshire, the Winsford Academy is an 11 to 16 co-educational comprehensive school, which has recently been oversubscribed.

The staff at Winsford Academy are at the forefront of transforming young lives. The socio-economic context of the school places it in the 5th quintile for deprivation on entry and levels of SEN are also significantly higher than average.

The Winsford Academy is proud to be part of The Fallibroome Trust, a family of academy schools committed to providing an exceptional all-round education that equips young people with the character, knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of a changing world.

Established in 2014, The Fallibroome Trust currently numbers ten schools; seven primaries and three high schools. We work closely together, sharing expertise and good practice on curriculum, assessment and behaviour. We want pupils to be happy, safe and inspired to learn.

Being part of Trust means structured career pathways and opportunities for colleagues, supported by high-quality professional development. We are also supported with staffing, finance, IT, and building maintenance, giving us more time to focus on our priorities of teaching and learning.
