10 Sequencing Sheets for KS1, is a simple, versatile black-and-white resource designed to support children with reading, writing and sequencing skills.
Each sheet features 8 numbered boxes and a different familiar theme, including getting ready for school, washing hands, building a tower, playing at the park, a rainy day, baking “Happy Cakes”, planting a seed, making a sandwich and making a fruit salad.
Page 10 is a blank template that teachers or children can use to create their own sequencing activity or to draw / write the order of events for a chosen theme.
Children can colour in the pictures, cut them out and arrange them in the correct order.
The sheets can also be used as a starting point for writing a list of “how to” instructions, developing vocabulary, guided reading and encouraging children to talk about what happens first, next and last. A useful cross-curricular resource linking reading, writing, speaking and sequencing skills across KS1.
