This sow was written for year 9 , for the Christmas term to motivate them to perform and experiment using sound to create character and create mood , tension and atmosphere.
Students should have fun creating scenes from basic summaries of the plot. of Christmas Carol . Adding costumes, sounds and potentially lighting building up to perform to another class if confident enough . This is a fun way of ending the Christmas term as lower school can watch some of the pieces . Performance will give year 9 confidence and can encourage them to choose GCSE .
It can be adapted for younger groups easily. ks3
