ACTFL Proficiency Chart
In this chart, each level is related to an example that will help the student to understand his or her own proficiency level in language learning. Students or teachers can track progress and language proficiency improves throughout the course. Students can identify their current proficiency levels and identify how they can move up a level, to the next level of proficiency.
This chart can be blown up to hang up in a classroom.
Based on ACTFL 2012 Guidelines.
The gray scale level can be given to students to help them monitor their own progress toward proficiency.
