Algebra - Expanding single, double and triple brackets matching activities

These matching activities are suitable for KS3 and KS4 pupils. They can be projected onto a board, or printed off for students to work on (either in pairs or individually) Questions and matching answers are contained in each one.
There are 7 activities in total as summarised below …

1. Expanding a single bracket - single letter but using positive and negative signs both within and before the brackets
2. Expanding a single bracket - single letter but with a fractional amount before the bracket, either positive or negative
3. Expanding a single bracket - multiple letters using positive and negative signs both within and before the brackets
4. Expanding multiple single brackets - single letter but using positive and negative signs within, before and between brackets
5. Expanding double brackets - single letter but using positive and negative signs
6. Expanding double brackets - letters only using positive and negative signs
7. Expanding triple brackets - single letter but using positive and negative signs within the brackets
